Just curious, but how do you expect those people in prison to vote?

Does the 'Bangkok Hilton' have free wifi now? biggrin.gif

Well no one has voted in this poll under this part yet

But maybe they have an internet cafe at the ' Hilton ' ???........

I am employed, but I make enough to dable in other areas that allows me to be "self employed" too. Plus my "main" job really does not require too much effort or time, so it frees me up to get in to other projects.

That is one of the things that keeps me here, if I could not dable in other things, I'd get bored and want to head home.

Someone mentioned taxes etc.

I find it to be essentially the same. In the US I was grossing 6 figures, but after taxes and expenses my net savings is really essentially the same as it is here in Thailand.

and so here I stay, as the economy in the states goes down the tubes.

Not all TV-posters are in Thailand. Not all prisons are in Thailand.

But I'll admit that I was scratching around for possible options there ! :o

I wonder; do any prisons have internet access?

I live in Thailand on an early retirement pension.

Must admit, since I have lived here, I do see my living standards dwindling month by month and finding it difficult to drag out my pension with the continuing galloping inflation, low interest rates and poor exchange rates.

Those who are considering retiring in Thailand should be financially well prepared for the future and not just have incomes or savings based on present costs and bank rates.

Good question ! I'd guess the softer ones, in places like the Netherlands or Sweden might.

Banged-Up without access to ThaiVisa, now that really would be tough to take ! :D

Most of my income comes from pimping out other TV members to unsuspecting tourists. :D

britmaveric, kurgen and daleyboy have been earning me enough dosh that I can live my pimp-daddy lifestyle and spend hordes of cash in other establishments.

I really only go to Afghanistan for 3 months at a time as a vacation, after the stresses of keeping those 3 biatches in line for a month. Which reminds me, 2 of the 3 have snuck off with the $$ they've skimmed from me (ungrateful ho's that they are). :o

So, anyone interested in having their farang butts pimped out at Jenny's, send an email to [email protected] or drop in to Jenny's. Ask for Jamal.

Be sure to bring your administration fee (preferably in non-sequential, unmarked 1,000 baht notes) or I'll have to go Isaan on yer @ss !

I'm in full time employment, but what I do for my living costs depends upon where I am working.

If I am working back at the Head Office I pay my living costs from my salary.

If I am working anywhere other than head office my employers pay my living costs.... if I am on 'married status' this is extended to my family living costs.

I understand some of it, but still cant see how you get all your income.

How much wages do you earn a month?

If you`re not at Head Office, where else do you work?

How much money do you have in the bank?

Do you have credit/debit cards and what`s the balance on these?

You say you have a wife, but do you have a mistress as well?

If you dont wish to say in these posts, can we have your phone number so that we may ask you personally?

Hope you dont think these questions are too personal, but us ThaiVisa members have a right to know.

The question asked was not about all income, it was about covering living costs - I have explained how I cover my living costs.

How much wages do you earn a month?

I would normally respond, mind your own business - but I think it better to point out that statements made on internet forums about the size of incomes/profits on the stock markets or winnings at poker ought not to believed

If you`re not at Head Office, where else do you work?

I'm in the Dusty Desert right now.... where next? ..... we'll wait and see.

How much money do you have in the bank?

See statement on claims of size of income above

Do you have credit/debit cards and what`s the balance on these?

Yes I do and zero - Have you seen the interest rates those guys charge?!

You say you have a wife, but do you have a mistress as well?

No

You`re a good sport, Sir.

At least their is someone else who can bring a little bit of well needed humour to these posts.
