Swiss pilot Yves Rossy, aka the Jet Man, practices flying his self-designed jet-propelled wing.

On September 25, 2008, Rossy is slated to attempt to become the first person to fly across the English Channel using the jet pack.

Sorry guys, the Pilot, Yves Rossy, just heard the news from Dover that the weather was changing and worsening and that there is no clear visibility.

Today's record attempt is cancelled and he will try tomorrow when the circumstances are better.
