I rent a fully furnished house which is insured for both structure and contents by the owner.

I need insurance for MY belongings.

This amounts to my clothing, cameras and computers valued at some $15,000.

ALL of it needs to be covered for "All Risks" as I travel a lot.

I also need FULL cover as opposed to the derisory "10% of the total sum insured" cover which seems to be the norm.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

p.s. I'm living here - not a tourist

Thai Visa Insurance can offer cover for 'Personal Property' and if a claim is made the company with either replace it or offer 'market value'.

Very strange as you received the quotation for your Pick-up and the contents quote was attached to that email - suggest you check your emails ?

Hey TVI - As you know I received your home quote but pointed out to you that I need specific all risks cover - i.e. away from home.

I emailed you on the 8th November requesting your further thoughts and quotation and am still without your response!

Ok, the quote has arrived and it's a superb quotation. Far more extensive than other other quotation I have had from Thailand and at a very competitve premium.

Credit where credit is due - this contract is highly recommended.
