this is just petty

I mean I always pay 10BHT for me and the same for the gilr I am with at the time, 20BHT to get almost anywhere - not a bad deal, and when worked out it really isnt a great deal.

That said, at the minute it seems if you want to get anywhere fast the only option is motorbike taxi. 40BHT from soi2 to walking street and a lot faster than the bahtbusses.

I took the motorbike taxi at the same time my mate got on a baht bus - I was waiting 15 minutes for him in a bar on walking street

One time I handed a " ha" baht bus driver a single 5 Bt coin and walked away (as one does)as usual.

A minute later he pulled up along side me and I thought ...err we go again

However he stuck his head out of the window and almost appologetically held up his left hand with 4 fingers and asked if I could please give him the other 4 Bt.

I quickly checked my pocket and sure enough realised that I had only given him a 1 Bt. coin.

Quite a nice block really...
