Briggsy
On the BBC's World Service programme, "World Briefing", broadcast at 5:06 GMT on 15 Nov, there is a good analysis of the Thai political situation by their correspondent, Jonathan Head. Here is a link to the audio. I hope this is not against forum rules as BBC articles are often posted. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/check/w...=1&ls=p1226 The analysis was not posted on the BBC Website as a written article but as a spoken piece so I could not find a script to cut and paste. toptuan
Jonathan Head seems to be the most reviled/most loved reporter in Thailand!
WaiWai
Jonathan Head seems to be the most reviled/most loved reporter in Thailand! "The Australian" had a broad analysis today, too. (Until now have not noticed a great deal in the Australian papers). http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...41-2703,00.html
Briggsy
An article has now been posted on the main news page of the BBC's website. It details the main points covered in the piece on the World Briefing programme. bravingbangkok
Johnathen Head does a bloody good job of reporting in Thailand to a western audience that wants to be told how it is. He gives the right amount of information without going too much into it. It must be a very thin rope this guy has to walk on to at least try and report on a decent level.
