Le Crystal gets my vote hands down. Google for their web site, dribble over the menu, rob a bank and go stuff yourself :o

Only draw back is that if there are only two of you and you go on a quiet night the atmosphere will be lacking.

My guess is that most of us will go The Duke's or Holiday Inn. They both put out a good spread for a reasonable price, and Dave in particular really enjoys making a nice family holiday meal and probably makes very little profit on the whole thing.

There are plenty of much more expensive restaurants, but the quality is hardly ever close to the price, so I don't see the point.

Places like The House or Mi Casa are not bad if you don't think too much about what they cost, but I often find myself thinking that the same thing at the Duke's would be twice the size, taste better and half the price. I don't mind a little bit extra for atmosphere, but I find the Duke's pleasant enough.

In my opinion, Bake and Bite is by far the best for a basic, cheap holiday meal that tastes better than most of the expensive places. You get a big portion of Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, cranberry sauce for under 500 baht and a choice of holiday pies for a little extra.
