12go Will Start Flying Again Dec 5

Featured Replies

As I'm a holder of a Platinum prepaid card on 12Go Airlines, I thought for sure I had lost my 20,000 Baht prepaid as I thought they were kaput. But, I got an SMS from them an hour ago that said they will continue flying again on Dec. 5 to Phuket and Chiangmai.

Can anybody else confirm this?

Looks like the murderers (no, I don't think that's too strong a word) will be flying again from the 5th, website is up and and taking bookings http://www.fly12go.com/en/flight/index.php

I hope they make lots of money so they can compensate the families of those they killed in Phuket, who have thus far received not a single bean!

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

You have been warned, should have been the title of this topic.

Reckon the loss of 20,000baht should still be your preferred option in this scenario !

The criticisms are well deserved by posters thus far. I was as upset at them as anyone and vowed not to fly them again, but having to fly myself and family members several times every month can get very expensive to and from Phuket, and the 12go card was the cheapest way to do it.

I guess I'll brave it and use up the 20k and then be finished with it.

Bangkok - Phuket (return), prices straight of the airline websites.

3630 Baht with Thai

3700 baht with One2Die

Hmmmm, now which will I choose?

According to the latest from The Nation newspaper, Air Asia will resume normal service tomorrow too.

AirAsia have a somewhat better safety record than One2Die, I would travel with them if I had to.

For the sake of accuracy, 12Go's prices are inclusive. Thai Airways' prices are exclusive.

1 adult(s) x (3,630.00 + 1,710.00) = 5,340.00 THB

total for all travellers 5,340.00 THB

I knew it was too good to be true... LOL...

Amazed that One2die are allowed to fly again, they should have had their certificate suspended until they had adequatley compensated the people they murdered in Phuket last year. :o

I'm sure little will change with this smash and grab out fit :D

So, to summarize, low price will always win out, even in spite of danger.
