I can understand what you are saying...but HATE is a bit OTT...sure HATE Millwall, Southend or any other club that you consider WHU to be fierce rivals with.

But to say you HATE MU and Liverpool is well out of order, by saying that you are saying that you HATE EVERY club that opposes you...why?

There has never been any love lost between my club and yours...(since Pardew left us for you...and that was a disaster)

but I don't HATE WHU...I don't HATE any club...but I don't like Swindon (local rivalry) I used to dislike Oxford...but they need sympathy (Sorry Moss Toasted Brit et al)....as much as they can get...so I sympathise with OU fans...must be so hard for them...10 years ago they used to thrash Reading regularly.

However, If any English Club is playing against the Iti's the Spaniards, the Dutch...whoever, regardless of who actually OWNS the club...I will support them...maybe not everyone thinks like me...but thats my take....when Liverpool won the CL 4 years ago I was over the moon....I don't have any passion for any other team but my own...but they were an ENGLISH based team...and we stuck it to Johnny Foreigner...and that makes me proud to be English...its a bit like fighting wars buddy

Ive got to go along with Msingh, it would be great for English football for these franchises with their droves of event seeking supporters to go out, so they have less money which may enable the slightest chance of some real competition in the premier league.

I was gutted when Liverpool fluked their way through against that Belgium team, after being played off the park in the 2 games.

I wanted all the British clubs other then Spurs and Villa to get through in the Uefa cup though.

same here. if united were playing a match against a team of aliens for the future of planet earth and the survival of the human race i'd still be cheering on the martians.

cracking draw that, rafa and torres get to go back to madrid and learn 'em. we've never played real in europe except in the final in '81. which is quite surprising.

Thai Pauly, no offence Mate but saying that Southend should be regarded as one of our fierce rivals is an absolute insult Bruv & i can't work out if you're taking the p*ss or not...

Also, no offence but your lot have no rivalry with the Clubs we're talking about as i believe you've only ever spent two seasons in teh Top Flight in your entire history which certainly isn't enough to actually have any rivalry, tell me about Swindon, Oxford or Bristol City & i'd say they were at your level..

Ask Redrus, if he travelled down to UP in the 70's &/or 80's or was at OT in that time period for Games between us, he'll understand why i class Man Ure as a Rival, maybe not so much in a Trophy sense or Geographical sense ( but then there was the CR's )of course but there is some bad blood between us 2 which has got out of hand over the last 20 odd years, & before..

I don't see Man Ure at Home or Away as a big Game because we can compete with them on the Pitch which we generally can't ( even though we have beat them 3 times in the last 5 Games.. ) & i'm not saying that Football Hooliganism should be condoned but West Ham V Man Ure has always for me had a bit of zest about it, for whatever reason & it adds to the flavour for me personally & adds to my enjoyment &, i believe, the aptmosphere..

Jesus/Allah/Buddha Chaps, if we're not able to detest who we want or have rivals who we hate, then for me there isn't much point of Football Matches as for me it would be zzzzzzzzzz..

Ask any real Man Ure Fan what their thoughts are on Liverpool or Leeds & they'll use the same word that i used, " hate " ...

If redrus or any other Man Ure Fan on here doesn't feel that way then it's his/her pergogative but many Mancs & other Football Fans i know here feel the same as me..
