You miss the boat. The best shot of the airport were during the PAD days.

There was one next to the upstairs landside bar and restaurant, but when I went last month, the restaurant was gone - now apparently a police office - and the observation deck cordoned off.

As already mentioned, the so-called observation deck is closed- there's a sign up saying that it's temporary. For photos it wasn't very good anyway given the layers of dirty glass one needed to shoot through.

There's a road that runs parallel to the runways just East of the airport- on good days you'll see folks stopped by the side of the road watching planes or taking photos. That's probably the best place that I've seen, though one needs transport to get out there as there's nothing else around.

biggrin.gif I havent gone to sleep, im following all this !! Thanks for all the info so far,

i have also heard of a hotel, called, ''the queens garden resort'', that is quiet close to the airport runway, and arrange for guests to go to the roof top for photos, huh.gif

i concur..

only ever seen it open once & for taking pics, its far from good..
