January 7, 200917 yr Is there a time limit before applying for another tourist visa. I mean if you go back can you apply straight away for 6 months in the future? So in effect you'll only be spending 6 months out of any 12 still? Just think it would be easier in advance to know so you can source cheaper flight options, etc rather than waiting until the last minute. Thanks in anticipation
January 7, 200917 yr The general guidance is that a visitor should not normally spend more than 6 months in the UK on any one visit nor spend more than 6 months out of any 12 in the UK. So, provided an applicant would not exceed these limits there is no minimum time before they could apply again. If looking to apply in advance, then the maximum time the start of a visa can be post dated is three months.
