Just a brief follow up on my wife's visa application to Australia for the benefit of those currently going through the process.

We applied for her visa on November 14 and she received a phone call on Janurary 6 to say it had been approved.

Obviously we are over the moon about this and I would like to thank all those involved in our plight from this website.

We were amazed at how quickly her visa was approved taking into consideration the Christmas break and feel our situation is nothing unusual to warrant such a speedy response. We wish everyone the best in their bid to bring their loved ones to Australia and other countries.
