High End Vacation Areas

Featured Replies

Are there any small luxury vacation towns, islands in thailand that you guys know of?

I am fairly familiar with hua hin stay at assara, phuket stay at indigo pearl, or amanpuri, chiang mai and chiang rai we have houses.

I like the north but have been dissapointed with the beach areas so far, but i havent made it to any of the islands yet... what are your go to islands beach towns/ hotels resorts?

Try Ravindra or Dor Shada beach resorts near Pattaya, they are next door to each other at Ban Amphur / Na Jomtien.

Not surprised you're dissapointed with the Beaches in the North, because there isn't any !!

Yeah funny, :o but im not just talking about the beach

Ko Racha is great for a short break. It is about a 45 minute speed boat ride south of Phuket from Chalong Pier. The resort hotel is superb. The Racha.

One of my favorites would be the koh Nang Yuan in Surrat Thani. IMO one of the most unique places in the Gulf of Thailand.

A nice place to bring your GF/wife for a couple of days, if partying and bar hopping is your thing, I wouldn't bother.

To get there, you need to go by boat, i.e. ferry from Chumporn to KohTao, or speedboat/ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao, and then with longtail out to the actual Island.

Google is your friend :o

Hope this helps

Consider checking out Khao Lak, it has developed into a rather upmarket beach resort.
