I don't know about the best place but a place is the currency exchange office next to Far East Rock agogo in Soi Post Office.

If your only buying $25 dollars it probably isn't worth your while spending time shopping around as the difference in price can only amount to a few baht.

It's not the rate that worries me.

Just need to know anywhere that will have green back notes available.

My own bank won't even accept notes for exchange.............

so they certainly won't have any to sell.

Soi Rungland, opposite the international phone exchange(CAT) on South Pattaya road.

Walk 30 meters up the soi and on your left-hand side you'll see a shop with "Bank Gold" on the window, one of the best exchange rates in town, and you can buy pretty much any foreign currency!

GBP, Euro and US$ in plenty supply...

It is OK I do qualify, as a Brit, for the visa on arrival, which costs $25.

They say it will only take 7 minutes to process.........

I will let you know later.

As you would have to fly to Indonesia....I would have thought the airport was a good place.....did that prior to flying to Cambodia on my last trip.
