Atm Cards

Featured Replies

If you need a new ATM card for (your bank back at home) whilst in the LOS beware;

My bank sent it to me in Pattaya by DHL

So far so good; but the courier got the nearest person near my apartments to sign for it, it then spent hours propped up next to the mailbox, whilst I was in the local bar.

I checked on the DHL website and they are within their rights. Signature is meaningless and the package does not have to be given direct to the addressee.

Wilson Steer.

I take it you have an overseas (back-home) address in the West, and then a buddy mails it to you by DHL? I managed to wait until my buddy could meet me in Perth.

Thanks for the tip.

Keep away from the bar's... :o

Thanks for the heads up on DHL.

Here is another one. If you have a large package sent to you via USPS, don't expect LOS Postal to take it to your place. It will sit at the main/local office forever, without word that it has arrived and opened for employee pickings. You better go down there to get it, quickly.
