Australian authorities stopped a man boarding a flight to Bangkok out of Sydney with three black-headed pythons and an albino carpet python hidden in his luggage. Forty native lizards -- 24 shingleback lizards and 16 bluetongue lizards were also found in the luggage. The 24-year-old man has been charged with attempting to export native species without a permit and could face 10 years of jail time and a $110,000 fine. "Customs and Border Protection continues to prevent, investigate and prosecute wildlife smuggling attempts into and out of Australia in a bid to end this cruel practice," said Richard Janeczko, spokesman for Customs and Border Patrol.
