BANGKOK, March 2 (Reuters) - Siam City Bank SCIB.BK, Thailand's seventh-biggest lender, said on Monday Canada's Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO) was interested in buying a stake in it.

"Scotiabank is one of three or four foreign banks that have approached us about taking a stake," President Chaiwat Uthaiwan told reporters.

I believe that bank already owns 25% of Thanachart Bank... so it's not necessarily a big deal.

All three are good banks IMO. Smart.
