hope you can help me with a couple of questions regarding supporting docs required for a settlement visa for my thai wife to be

(1)evidence of how your trip is to be funded

(2)evidence of sponsors permision to be in the uk

can anyone help with this

they are questions as written on the actual application form

What form are you filling in? Are you sure you have the correct one? The first question makes me think this might be a visit visa form.

The settlement form, VAF4A does ask for evidence of the sponsor's permission to be in the UK. Their passport will cover this.

It does not ask how the trip is to be funded, but does of course ask for evidence of how the applicant will be supported in the UK; sponsor's employment, savings etc. Sopp;y pay slips, bank statments etc.

i think i was getting to bloody tired by the end of the form

makes perfect sense now sorry to be a pain in the arse

think ive got everything covered now

hoped to get her back with me in may but i doubt it cuz this would mean the visa being processed in a time space of 3 weeks

reading the forum on settlement visa at the moment i think more chance of wining the lottery

Do the T.B. test now if you havent already cuz if she fails on that its a long course of meds and hoping she'll be clear next time(cuz she aint going nowhere)
