I am not being argumentative, I have a genuine question, why do people need an agent? I extended my non-O visa (retirement) in February for the fourth time, from arriving at the office to leaving after having paid the 1900 baht it took all of twenty minutes (air con office), I timed it, I picked up the passport the next day and was again in the office for 45 seconds. Smiles and a chat all around while dealing with the officers. I am talking of the Phuket immigration office which is 30 minutes drive away, air con car of course, dead easy, so my question again, what do agents do, get paid lots of money for an half hour job?
