InterestedObserver
If you are several days late with your 90 day address report it's up to the immigration officer what to do, either say "bad boy" or fine you. At various times Jomtien does like to see some kind of address verification, either a rental contract or utility bill etc.
Sunny Valentine
They quoted me "one week before or after is fine", and I went there yesterday, 4 days late, no problems. But now they want proof of address every time, at first (in December) I showed them my contract, they sid they make a remark, but now they want a copy of it every time you go for the 90 day. I really wonder what they do with all the identical copies ?
Cuban
> I really wonder what they do with all the identical copies ? I recently had some paperwork processed - it was about two inches thick of copies, pictures etc. There must be a huge storage site somewhere where this stuff is ignored / shreaded (I wish) or left to rot. Nah, no stack of paper in the back room, it's outside waiting for the recycle collector to pass by, just like old newspapers. They get paid by the kilo. Jingthing
FYI: They will also accept the ORIGINAL of a utility bill if you don't want to bother making a copy. Edited March 27, 2009 by Jingthing
