Questions On Health Insurance Given By Company.

Featured Replies

Morning all,

Do you guys know the health insurance card given to us by our company? Pa-kan-sam-kom ?

Yeah. My own insurance card stated lets say hospital A which is a private hospital.

Can i use the card in another better hospital like Bangkok Hospital. And Use it for my wife who is giving birth ?

Thanks.

Avante

That's your social security card.

Under normal circumstances it is only good at your designated hospital.

Exceptions would be emergencies when you are out of the area.

Another exception is when your hospital can't do a test or procedure and gives you a referral letter to another hospital for whatever it is you need.

Your family is not eligible for benefits under your card.

You should be able to change hospitals, although they may only do that at set times during the year.

Not every hospital has signed on to accept soc sec patients.
