Im a malaysian passport holder and enter bangkok from KL on 4/4/09 and my "30days" expire on 3/5/09 and i would like to stay in bangkok until 1st june 09 and i can't all the way back to malaysia and come back bangkok again so the nearest for me to EXIT thailand is poipet. So thought of doing a visarun to poipet and enter to get another "30day" stamp but with the new rules "15days" only stamps, so am i still entitle to get a "30days" stamp or only "15days".

I read thru the PDF doc it say

"As for Malaysian national entering through the border gate connected with t

he Malaysian Border

will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for no longer than 30 days per stay.”

but im enter through POIPET which not connected to malaysian border so..

PLEASE ADVISE..THANKS A MILLIONS

You will only get 15 days unless you cross the border with Malaysia. You can fly to anywhere and get 30 days when your return.

Your other choice is to go to the consulate in Viantiane and get a 60 day tourist visa.
