1 Day Visa Overstay

Hello,

Today I realized that the first 60 days of my double entry tourist visa ends on May 3. Because it's Sunday I can't get 30 days extension at Suan Plu.

If I go to the immigration on Monday, May 4 can I get 30 days tourist visa extension, even I overstayed my visa for 1 day? Will I have to pay 500 baht first? What are my options now?

Yes you will get the extension on Monday - but you should have taken care of it this week as you lose nothing doing early. Not sure on the overstay charge.

I went today to the immigration after overstaying my visa one day, and extended my tourist visa without paying 500 baht. I was told that because yesterday was a holiday I don't have to pay.

I think it all depends upon immigrations mood when you go there.

Sometimes they give you a break because of it being a weekend or a holiday. Sometimes not.
