I require a service that can do the post construction clean-up an apartment that was finished more that a year ago. The biggest issue is a wood floor that is covered with paint splatters and is dull. I am not looking a ‘maid’ to come in to do some cleaning, I am looking for professional results. Does any know of a professional cleaning service or a freelancer that can do a quality, one-time cleaning job?

Back story:

I have just started renting a new condo. I am the first tenant, and when I originally looked at the place, it was still at post construction level of clean. In other words, not only was there a lot of dust, but none of the construction mess, like plaint on the wood floor, excess glue and grout, measuring marks, etc had been cleaned. It was agreed that the condo would be brought to proper ‘show room finish’, before I moved in. Unfortunately, the owner needed to leave the country for a while and delegated the task to his maid, who basically blew it off. So I had to moving into the dirty apartment, and now have to take care of the task myself. I’m not writing to complain about the owner, he is a good guy and as unhappy about the situation as I am. He as offered to compensate me for getting it cleaned.

While I managed to get the local building maid in to get rid of the dust, she was not up to the task of removing the tougher paint and glue marks. I now need someone (other than myself) to do the work.
