Could anyone tell me how many blank visa pages I must have in my passport to get my 30 day non-visa entry stamp?

I remember reading or hearing something about a required minimum of at least 2 full blank pages. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance, any help with this question is much appreciated!

The stamp measures 41x25 mm. You don’t need any blank page if you have this little space left on any page usable for visa stamps.

Example of entry stamp:

You will need another blank space for the triangular departure stamp which is 52 mm wide and 25 mm high:

So that's what the 2 page is for.

Thanks for your reply as well, ubonjoe

ubonjoe, I've got a friend thinking about trip to Penang for a tourist visa but worried he's only got three full pages left. Let's assume he gets stamp out of Thailand and into Malaysia on one of those pages. Are the remaining two blank pages enough for him to be issued a single entry tourist visa in Penang?

He has more than enough pages for a trip to Penang.

They have to be pages marked as visa pages not endorsements or something else. A member was turned down for a visa becaue he didn't have pages that were marked as visa pages.

Slightly confused when you state 'they have to be marked as visa pages' not sure what that means. I have 2 passports myself and just had a look at them, nowhere on any page does it say 'visa page' Thanks.

Some pages in a passport are marked for other purposes then a visa, for example to note of you have children. These pages are not meant for visa stamps.
