Our excerpt of a press conference by Patrick Cotter, Organiser of the 11th Phuket International Rugby 10s & Captain, Phuket Vagabonds & Viagrabonds sides. The tournament is to be held at Surakul Stadium, Phuket City, 10.30am Friday 29 May until 6.15pm Sunday 31 May. During a press conference last week at Surakul Stadium in Phuket, Patrick Cotter, Organiser of the annual Phuket International Rugby 10s, revealed that he has been asked to help arrange two other possible tournaments in Phuket: a Kings Cup 7-a-side Asian Championships in December this year, and an 80-80 kilogram maximum weight 15-a-side international tournament next year, as previously twice held here, but he admitted it needs a guaranteed venue like the planned Phuket International Academy school in Paklok and a New Zealand training academy for Thai kids to back up Phuket’s hosting plans: (voice)
