Hi,

I am thinking to start road cycling in the eastern/northeastern areas outside Bangkok. I do live in Watcharapol/Ramintra area and will probably not be able to start cycling from the door considering the traffic on Ramintra. I do not mind going out by car before start cycling.

What are your recommended roads in eastern / northeastern direction with regards to low traffic on weekend mornings, wide shoulders, not too many intersections etc.? Any recommended starting points (car parking spots)?

Thanks for any advices!

Cheers,

George

I am out cycling nearly every day on Ram Intra. Traffic depends on which direction you go, time of day and other factors; the 'secret' to riding on Ram Intra is choosing the right line. There are many fascinating routes starting in your area
