Eye Pain/migraine

Featured Replies

My wife has been getting occasional headaches and pain in her right eye. She even had to go and get pills for a migraine, which she has never had before. The really bad headaches never came back. but the eye pain continues to return.

Of course we went and had her vision tested. her results were normal vision at one place. At another place she had +25 in her right and normal in her left. I am no expert but I believe +25 is hardly anything at all. I don't think you can evening find +25 reading glasses.

Both shops however wanted to sell her glasses anyways, they said she needed anti glare/anti reflection. Call me suspicious, but I think they were just looking to make a sale, it is not like she is dealing with glare issues, Shes spends most of the time in the house.

She does like to read and I am sure that is related. But sometimes/rarely even watching TV will make her eye sore.

Anyhow, any experts out there have an idea of whats up.

Hey my man get your lady to a doctor, to heck with these shops, their jobs are to sell you something. Your wife's pain in the eye could be something serious by all mean see a doctor get it checked out. :):D :

Agree totally, don't muck about go to an opthamologist not an optician. - the eye pain maybe just a symptom of something else

Second what Tim said. You do not need a glasses shop (optician), you need an opthamologist for a thorough ocular exam, then if he finds nothing wrong with the eye, a neurologist specializing in headache to determine if this is, indeed, migraine or something else.
