If you go by the book, file a tax return, don't owe any tax, get a certificate.............. you are in the clear.
Legally, extremely doubtful, anyone staying more than to 180+ days could be prevented from leaving if that they don't present that certificate.
So it will apply to expats......if immigration want it to.
Maneerat doesn't do new visas based on retirement though, 3+12 months, included opening a new bank account. At least at the moment. Only a few agents in Pattaya still do them, because of the banking issues (they drive to Bangkok).
Maneerat can do the 12 months extension though, if you come in on a Non-O 90 days visa based on retirement.
I have Bangkok Bank but have been considering changing to Krungthai based on better ATM daily withdrawal amount. Are there other aspects better about Krungthai banking? (Thanks in advance)
You think the Swiss don't have that option already? They can play Fenders & Gibsons, eat God's own rib-eyes, drive blinged out Mustangs & Chargers and drink bourbon, but choose not to.
Do you think imposing tariffs on imports of Swiss products into the US will change this?
