arncap Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Has anyone stayed at either of the 2 places I mentioned in the title of this message? If so, please respond with any comments about your stay. Thanks so much...
arncap Posted June 1, 2009 Author Posted June 1, 2009 What city or area are they in. Koh Samui. Lamai Beach.
kebabman7 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I stayed in HatHai House approx 1 month ago, nice clean rooms and about 5 minute walk from the main road in Lamai. Is fairly quite and has its own small swimming pool. Wi-fi is available in your room but you have to buy a card, rooms have aircon, fridge and satellite TV (only a few english speaking channels). Run by a thai family that stay on site, reception closes at about 8pm. Good value for money for Samui, when I stayed they were virtually fully booked most of the time.

How much a month is it, and how far from the beach? Which part of Lamai? Thank you in advance.
perkie173 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I'm thinking about booking in there next week. heres the website i found, including rates http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/samui/hathai/
Shrubbery Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 My wife and I have stayed a couple of times. It's clean, the staff are friendly , it's well located and reasonably priced. The rooms have DVD players with DVD's availble from reception.
dastott Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 It looks very nice. I wonder if they do monthly rates?
samui04 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 It looks very nice. I wonder if they do monthly rates? everybody does, but Hathai is very small so if they have few rooms avail why give huge discount? on bigger place the price can go down 30/50%, sometimes not in cash but to spend on the restaurant..... anyway ask directly Jimmy.....
