Place For Dessert

Featured Replies

okay so i've relocated back after 4 years and during this time i've developed a taste for dessert in the states. places like cold stone, ghirardelli's were great places to go for some quality dessert after dinner.

so i'm wondering, where do they have places with a good selection of dessert in bangkok? i'm in the nana area so some place nearby would be convenient, or easily accessible through the sky train. also, something worth it would be nice too, i'm not going to spend 500 baht on a scoop of ice cream.

Bangkok has lots of good places for dessert. There is a very good ice cream shop here that is similar to Cold Stone. It is The Cream & Fudge Factory. They have several locations in Bangkok but I have only been to their Siam Paragon and Central World shops. You can Google them for more locations.

Another great place for dessert also has a Central World restaurant as well as several other locations around Bangkok and that is Coffee Beans by Dao. They have great cheesecakes. Outback Steakhouse in Siam Paragon has big U.S. style desserts.

I'm a big fan of Swensen's. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had was in there.

I agree with one of the posters. Coffee Bean by Dao has great desserts. They are in the process of opening a new one at Siam Paragon in the food court area. Actually at Paragon there are many places to have desserts. The Oriental, Le Notre, several ice cream shops to name a few.

I do like the Oriental Cafe as they have great brownies which are huge and can be shared and when ordering a coffee you actually get 2 nice chocolate chip cookies free. Mostly I take the brownie home!

hagen daz ice cream
