Depends how large you mean. Post Offices carry various sizes of box for postal items from small up to largish. Also by the main Post Office in Banglamung (Pattaya) there used to be a small shop that specialised in selling used packaging and I suspect similar shops may exist near other main Post Offices as well. All those used supermarket/store boxes must go somewhere and the Thais aren't slow to look to make a buck!

If you have a local 7-11 where they know you well, they'll probably give you as many as you want for nothing. At least this was my experience a few months back when I moved apartment.

Also the Office supplier place opposite Emporium sells the storage boxes - which is what i used when i moved apartments at the begining of the year

I got some from Villa after substantial staff confusion, shyness, and buck passing. Eventually I found someone whose pay grade allowed the decision making needed to give me some empty boxes and she graciously and competently fulfilled my every corrugated desire.

I always buy those Chang or Leo brand of cardboard boxes for packing when moving and the best thing is you get free beer with them!!

If I remember well...There is a small "surplus" (but brand new) cardboard boxes shop located on Asoke, just before the bridge over Klong Sam Sen, on the left side before the Rama IX intersection going to Radchadaphisek.

If it ain't there, it is just before the Asoke/Petchaburi intersection...
