Thai Life maintains No.2 position

Thai Life Assuarance Co Ltd maintains the No.2 position in the industry, with premiums of nearly Bt4 billion in the first five months of this year.

Apirak Thaipatanagul, director and CEO of Thai Life Assurance, said new premiums topped Bt3.9 billion, or a 34 per cent growth from the same period last year. Meanwhile, total premiums reached Bt13.2 billion, up 16 per cent on year, representing the 13.8 per cent share in the market.

"We're confident that combined premiums this year would reach Bt30 billion," he said, adding that the figures are 40 per cent higher than that of the No.3 player.

In the latter half, the company is prepared to launch new shorter policies and a new training programme, aiming to turn sale agents to professional life planners.

<deleted> is a professional life planner?

same numpties in cheap ill fitting poorly tailored suits who know nothing about their products or their relevance to the customer, driven as always by the bottom line, commission.

Fine talk indeed, as usual all show and no go.
