Hi

I have just completed building a wooden 19 foot sailboat which has displacement 1700lbs. . I plan to keep the boat on a trailer.

I am having difficulty fining information regarding weather or not I must register the boat and if I will need a license to sail it.

Presently I live in Chaing Mai I have had several light displacement power boats under 17 feet on the Ping River I did not register them or apply for a license and I have had no trouble for the last 7 years.

I prefer not to get involved with Thai bureaucracy if it is not necessary. Would appreciate any advice >

Than you

Pat
