Coming to Chiang Rai and I want to rent a car. gf's friend has one for rent but do I need to purchase insurance and where do I get for only 1 week. Any ideaws about cost. Better option may be just to rent from car rental company even though costs more but includes insurance. Logistically would be easier to rent gf's friend's car becuase she would pick me up and drop me off at airport.
