Newbie Saying Hi

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am new here and just wanted to say hey to everyone. I joined here with the hopes of getting information about moving/living/retiring in thailand (Phuket or similar area in both price and quality). I do not need all the info now, or am I even gonna start asking soon. Just wanted to say hey.

Phuket's the best place to live permanently if you need the sea/beach, nightlife, other foreigners for chats, infrastructure and shopping, amongst others. Samui is alcatraz for longtermers.

The air quality's great as opposed to BKK and C/mai.

The Thai's get friendlier the further North one travels in the Kingdom but there's good and bad everywhere, so hook up with some affable ones for a lifestyle here that only most Westerners dream of.

Oh and don't put all you eggs in one basket.

regards bojo
