I have recently abt 2 weeks ago found out i have some pimple(same like chicken pox growths) like things on my back mainly. Its tiny little red pimples i tried squeezing but there are no pus and it itches from time to time. I did scratch when i was sleeping and it got bigger and more of those seems to pop up now. I used to have a few pimples on my back which will subside but not its getting worst. I was using Dermovate for my ezcema condition and now that has gone better but the pimple on my back this is killing me as it itches bad. I had a few before using Dermovate so i assume its not a allergic reaction. I did try to apply Dermovate on it but it does not get any better. I never had any acne problems when i was a kid or teenager. I hope someone can point me in a direction to purchase some over counter creams which might help.

Please this is urgent.

Thanks for reading.

As with any dermatological condition, trying to make a diagnosis without seeing the lesion is next to impossible. The comparison with "chicken pox growths" is also unclear.

It is possible that this may be an infective dermatitis with a staph or other bacteria.

It may have been acquired from sleeping in a different area than home or using towels from outside venues.

Best not to use Dermovate as it is a steroid and may aggravate the situation.

Use an antibacterial soap to start with and try and avoid scratching the lesions as you may spread the infection.

Best advice would be to visit a dermatologist

:) try zaricort or quadriderm(not sure of this spelling), both available at any pharmacy. boots and such . see a derma as suggested or use the soap as suggested here also. have you been sleeping in other beds besides yours? also, beware of towels supplied in some hotels - some may look clean but are not. the deck chairs on the beaches in pattaya, some are germs carriers. :D

Did you by any chance have a slight sunburn or an over exposure to the sun under humid conditions? I came down with a nasty set of pimples on my upper chest. Itchy as anything. No pus, but basically inflamed pores. The more I scratched the worse it became. I stayed out of the sun for awhile kept the skin dry and found that basic baby powder worked a charm. went away in a couple of days First and only time I had that.

A friend suddenly started to mysteriously develope what he thought to be pimples or similar,

Turned out to actual be bed bug bites, the place was comletely infested with them.

Flip your mattress over and look around the edge for little beach sand size white eggs and small brown flat tick looking bugs.

If you find them I suggest professional help as household sprays don’t work. There’s plenty of bedbug info with photos to be found on the net.

The bites I had were small red and very itchy.
