Boxing Records

Featured Replies

Hi Boxing fans...after a typical boozy discussion of "pound for pound who was the best fighter ever" I looked at Rocky's records. Defeated CC AKA Muhammed Ali in 1970. Checked Ali's records...no mention of this. Can you direct me to a site for a comprehensive record of both these and other fighters? Maybe it's due to the differing boxing authorites records on the sites I checked?

Thanks Thairet

The fight between Ali and Marciano never actually took place. It was a computer simulation using video footage of the 2 boxers.

Rocky's last fight was in 1955 - when Cassius Clay was only 13 years old!

No offense, but if you didn't already know that Muhammed Ali and Rocky Marciano never fought, should you really be getting into arguments about who the best p4p fighter ever is.....?

Anyway, to aid you in any potential future arguments, go to www.boxrec.com. It's the most comprehensive collection of boxing fight records out there.
