Fishing In Phuket

Featured Replies

Yea mate i know a couple of spots.. What do you like to do sea or freshwater fishing?

To be honest fishing from the rocks isnt much cop unless you like small fish, sometimes you can have a little fun with a small spinner.. Or you can try the bridge which goes out of phuket.

Another place which is a little bit pricey at 600 baht per day plus extra 300 for gear rental, is phuket fishing park near the monument roundabout at thalang. best to take your own gear and can have some really good fun using light tackle with the indian carp, paku, and tons of other species.

theres loads of catfish in there too some of them big and also the arapima. nice setting and can get food there too everything you need and a good day out.

Theres also bang wat dam (in kathu) where you can nightfish for giant snakehead but they are hard to catch, theres some lovely fish in though.
