Health Insurance For One Year?

Featured Replies

I will be in Thailand soon where I will be living in Bangkok for a year, possibly two.

I will also be doing the odd weekend away in neighbouring countries.

Had a look at health insurance but not sure which to get.

Should I get a one year policy for Thailand then other shorter ones for when I leave the country or can I get a multi country one.

I will be doing a bit of Muay Thai and maybe some other sports. No car or bike though.

Anyone got any recommendations, the cheaper the better!

Cheers

I personnally would be going for the best you can afford, considering you are travelling to other countries, certainly some thing like BUPA, also look for one that offers international repatriation if needed as part of the package ie SOS repatriation...Also read your conditions, as you may be refused a claim if injured doing sports..

It's the old story, you only get what you pay for ................... Seriously what the other poster said is correct, get the best which fits your budget - if you need to use it you can never have enough.

International is not necessary for S.E.A. as there are several good policies for this part of the world who's benefits will cover you sufficiently.
