As a non resident one is allowed 90 days per year in the UK ? I assume visits to the rest of Europe do not effect this ?

Does the 90 days accumulate over time - So if for the last 10 years I have not been to the UK - am I allowed 900 days plus the normal yearly allowance before my status is in question ?

Many Thanks

Rest of Europe doesnt count, but dont say this too loudly...some loonie in Nu-labour might get some ideas... :D

If memory serves...you are allowed 90 days a years/averaged over a 3 years period, somehow dont think HM Revenue Service will give you 900 days... :)

Soupeel is right, it's 90 days max in 1 tax year.

Unused days cannot be saved up tagged on.

I think the rule is actually 91 days per year and 364 in a 4 year period. Days can be carried forward, have done it myself. However, my tax accountant advises against doing it too often as it draws attention
