I'm not so sure that most people who leave their home countries are losers. But I agree that those who disparage the country they come from are mostly losers. -

Will Trump’s Economic Policies Lead to Far Reaching Stagflation?
If Trump’s anticipated wide-reaching import tariffs and mass deportations cause inflation in the USA to spike again, wages to rise considerably because of low cost labor shortages, which eventually lead to an economic slowdown where unemployment rises (together with high inflation), and you end up with a situation in the US of sustained stagflation, then will this affect you at all? And will even higher interest rates, reminiscent of the Volcker era, together with even more bankruptcies, more people defaulting on their car loans, credit cards, and mortgages, and companies having to shut down and lay off workers because of shrinking demand related to Trump's unsustainable economic policies, then do you think this will have far reaching consequences for people living outside the USA? -

Do you get on well with Thai People?
I agree that a lot depends on where one is currently living. As someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in tourist ghettos over the years I think this may have jaded me somewhat. When you are in a situation like one where as soon as you leave your front door thai people are on the street trying to scam you, then I think it taints ones perceptions of locals after a while and can foster a certain amount of negativity in the long run.. -

I assume that the child was clothed, and the parent stated that they used their own body heat to keep the baby warm. It seems reasonable to think that there may have been other issues especially as so many other children have survived the chilly weather. -
