Not sure if the place is still there, on third road, about 1 km before the South Pattaya traffic lights on the left hand side. Between Buffalo Bar and The Village. Always used to have some Beemers and Benzes for rent.

HAve to retract my above post.

Drove past last afternoon, and the shop seems to have gone...No idea if they closed or relocated...

The guy closed after having some police investigation, years ago.

There's a guy that rents out at the X-zyte disco parking lot as long as you get there before 5 PM. He's got a 735iL for rent as well as an older mercedes C-series.

They're not the brand new models of either but they're "luxury" enough for Thai Traffic :)

The business model likely does not work as the likelihood of a Westerner who wants to rent a luxury car in Thailand crashing it is astronomical. Having to argue over beer and other bodily fluids left in the car that your insurance policy does not cover with some tourist who will instantly claim innocence and then phone the tourist police claiming that he is getting extorted... I am sure its possible in Singapore or Hong Kong as these destinations are home to a different type of foreign tourist.

it's correct! We have rental cars and i have all this expirience and i can see see how they look after 2 rental year, i have to say: It's a shame how some customers take care of the interior. Cigarette brand marks on seats and doorpanels, superglue on the console, dirty and filty socks and underpants under the seats, coffee on the carpet, it's absolutely crazy. I would never do Luxury rental car business, i not even know if there is any correct rental car insurance company who would cover such multi million Baht cars. In Hawaii (Waikiki), where i worked before in the used car business, there was a rental company who had brand new Corvettes, Escalades and Hummers for rent, they charged from 290 to 390 USD per day. I don't think here in LOS someone would spend 48''k for a similar luxury rental car per day (Have to multiply 4 times, because luxury cars have 300% import tax. Otherwise (wich 12'k) it would take to long for amortisation for the vehicle.
