Multimedia Message technology. Different way to send “Multimedia Message”

Sending from mobile phone to mobile phone

Sending from mobile phone to E-mail

Sending from different Multimedia Message services through internet (www.mobilelife.co.th) or WAP (wap.mobilelife.co.th) to a mobile phone

Sending from E-mail to a mobile phone through Multimedia technology (send it to [email protected])

I think you'll find it should be:

[email protected]

and you will have to ask call centre to activate MMS service.

Go the other way - go to your mobile phone website - they will have instructions on how to setup

the various protocols on ya fone - that was the easiest way with AIS - the manufacturer simply texts them to ya - you accept, it installs automagically and away ya go. Make sure the actual email gateway works - I did a cc to my main email box as reference - they are quite lazy at AIS.

You are right about them being lazy ! This service was stopped in 2007 but is still on the website :)

The new service they offer is no good for me as i was going to use it to set up sms email notification in Gmail

Here is what they sent me

AIS With you, Always

AIS/One-2-Call do offer an SMS/MMS toolbar which is a plug-in for Outlook/OE/IE and allows you to originate SMSes. In theory you could set up a rule to originate an SMS upon receipt of an email?

  • 1 year later...

Is there any update on this?

Or does anybody know another provider in thailand that allows sms messages to be sent to [email protected] ?
