Hi,

anyone can confirm that from September 1,2009 workpermits are only permitted for non-b visa holders, not anymore for non o-marriage visa holders !

No changes in the work permit rules that I know of. Sounds like BS to me.

You changes have been anounced, and I'm pretty sure some lawfirms would have let us know if it were true. For now I would say gossip.

carbon, you may want to consider the possibility that your employer might have given you this wrong information to make you dependent on him for your extensions of stay. It has been known to happen.

When I renewed my WP for another year I had 5 days left on my extension of stay based on marriage.

Stamped for another year September 8th.
