Driver License Question

Friend of mine has to go pick up Thai driver licenses, both car and bike.

He has his foreign national one, his international one (Aussie), all valid for both bikes and cars (and trucks).

So apart from watching through the video he should not do examinations.

Does he need doctors certificate and residence paper in duplicate? Or will originals plus copies do. Or just 1 each?

Done all that but never both on the same day, hence the question!

Got both mine at the same time but that was over 6 years ago so my memory is a little blurry. I do remember that I had one set of originals (doctors, residency letter) and a set of copies. I do not remember if they kept the copies. Sorry i couldn't be of more help.
