RKASA Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I have both an AIS and Dtac Tower near my back yard and they draw lightening every time. Once a surge was so bad it destroyed the main contact relay in my AC unit (that takes a lot to open a coil) and it was at the time turned off at the breaker in the main panel. I would not have believed it but I did the repair myself being a electrician. Everything else in the house was fine. Its unpredictable at best. Un plug everything you care about.
