Strange Engine Noise In Isuzu D-max

Featured Replies

I bought a new isuzu d-max 4cab 3.0lt two months ago in Greece [Crete].After one month and 2000km it started occasionally a strange noise especially in changing from 1st to 2nd gear always driving uphill. This is getting worse

in frequency and duration. The service department said it is something normal.I wonder if it is correct and I would appreciate if somebody has experienced the same problem and was causes could be found of it.

Many thanks in advance.

Same engine on isuzu MU7, never a noise.

BTW, which kind of noise??

Wel i rented a new d max and after 3 milies took it back as there was sort of roaring from the front of the engine, the owner said it was the viscous fan on the radiator and they were all like it, i took a vigo.., however i have heard this on other d max models, so he may be right,. :)

If is the radiator fan noise, it is normal, but for a short time, usually with 1st, 2nd gears
