Hi, we play table tennis on a Thursday starting around 5 pm onwards at Phuket sports club, off the Viset rd Rawai. So far we have on an average week 6-8 players, men and ladies, Perhaps you havn't played table tennis for a long time but would like to come along and have a go? no problem. Or you may play to a good standard, either way you are welcome to come along and join in. We generally play between 5-7 pm, a bit of warm up time then a mini leauge or knock out, with a few more players we can make this more interesting. It's a fun game and a good way to have a bit of friendly competition and a few beers after in the outback bar which is on site. If you are interested let me know either by mailing me or posting on this forum.

Interested. Used to play quite a bit at some local bars but now my usual haunts don't have tables. I need to find this club. I hear there is volleyball there too.

If you head towards Chalong circle on the Viset Rd, the green leaf petrol station comes up on your left. Directly after the petrol station there is a Soi, (sorry not sure of the name) head up there for about 1.5 k follow the signs for Tennis, straight,left straight and it comes up on your right. Yes you can play volleyball, of course tennis which also is flood lit, pool, darts, fishing on a stocked man made small lake, bouls etc, and of course table tennis. I am not sure if I am allowed to announce websites on the forum?can someone let me know?

Excellent! I think like many people we played as kids, put after 15 mins it comes back to you, a bit like riding a bike. Once you play a few games you are back in the zone . We play up to 11 points per game alternating serves every 2 points, it keeps it interesting and flowing. Skip the phuketsport owner is getting a new table this week, so we will have two tables.

Just to let you know despite the rain at the moment which could quite easily dry up later, we will be meeting tonight at 5pm. The table is indoors so no problems, male & a few female players tonight so hope to see you there!
