Chiang Mai provincial governor Wichien Phutthiwinyu has asked the Air Force to dispatch aircraft to release water into the air. Ulysses G.
It has been on the verge of raining at Thapae Gate for the last few hours - very cool breeze. I am guessing it will either never happen at all or pour down like crazy when I am on my way to eat dinner somewhere on my bicycle.

I recommend the saddle as rice is likely to fall off the tyres unless they are quite wide.

Perhaps seeding helps when atmospheric conditions are right.

Popular Post T_Dog
Big storms today in Chiang Dao and around Mae Ngat Dam. 1 inch diameter hail reported. No rain in Mae Taeng but we could hear the thunder and had nice outflow winds. Edit to add photo: Looks a normal piece of hail was formed and then got tossed back up for a heavy dose of clear icing! The updrafts must have been intense. (5 km from Mae Ngat Dam.) Edited March 23, 2014 by T_Dog
