Dry Day On The 23rd ?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Can anyone advise if there is a proper dry day on the 23rd, or is it one of those ..nah..not really.. kind of ones ?

Reason is i'm planning on flying over from Hong Kong for that weekend but just noticed its a public holiday i recall from Samui before that some dry days are not really, wheras some run for almost 2 days (ie midnight the night before) and some are half, just wondering if anyone knows if the Chulalongkorn Day day will be in Pattaya ?

Cheers

More than likely be a wet day, so bring an umbrella with you. :)

Ask again on 22nd or 23rd

Nobody knows right now. TiT

Bars have been open on the last 6 years I have been here and never a suggestion that this should be a dry day

It is not a Buddhist day. It is the celebration (remembrance) of the day King Rama V died - he was the King of Siam for 42 years. He also abolished slavery and mordenised Siam.
